Steve has been involved with trucks his entire life. He was born into the industry, as his father owned a moving and storage agency for United Van Lines. During the busy summer seasons he’d help the long haul drivers unload their moving van’s throughout the suburbs of Chicago. After college he moved to California and went to work for a Defense Contractor in their transportation department. He spent many years coordinating the movement of government loads throughout the United States. Most recently he was employed at a local truck terminal as a terminal manager for a nationwide carrier. As time went by he was promoted to Regional Manager where he oversaw several terminals, managers, drivers, mechanics and truck repair facilities. He knows what it’s like to have your truck down when you need it back up and running! That’s why IE fleet emphasizes quick turnaround on your vehicle. During his “downtime” he is busy with his three daughters and their 4 children which makes him the grandfather of four (so far!).
Jennifer was introduced to trucking as a long haul driver and spent many years driving. She still holds a valid commercial license today which allows IE Fleet to shuttle our customer’s vehicles to/from their location for service needs. During her past career she was promoted from driving to dispatching and eventually managing a trucking terminal in the HazMat / Cryogenic world of Industrial Gases. While managing a trucking terminal she became involved in the day to day activities of the Terminal’s truck repair facility. In fact, due to personnel changes she eventually ended up running the shop. As the “Shop Foreman” Jennifer worked closely with the mechanics to maintain and repair a fleet of HazMat tractor trailers, keeping them DOT compliant while running interstate for her on-site customer.
Jennifer lives in a small mountain community in the San Bernardino National Forest. During her off time she is a volunteer firefighter which “feeds her need” to help and support the local community.
